Angola Luao Airport Provided by AVIC CAPDI Succeeds in First Test Flight

LUANDA, Angola, October 11, 2014 — 9:25 a.m. 11:20 a.m. local time, accompanied by huge roar of aircraft engines, two civil aircrafts smoothly landed in Angola Luao Airport, marking Luao Airport provided by AVIC CAPDI succeeds in first test flight. The flight crew officials participating in this event gave very high appraisal of the project. Angola's Minister of Transport Augusto Tomás, Governor of Moxico Province Joao Eduardo, Angola airport ENANA top management staff are the first passengers in this test flight.

Covering an area of 1,510,000 square meters, featuring a 2,600m runway 4C airfield in phase I, Luao Airport is an important airport project in infrastructure planning of Angola. The project includes airfield runway, apron, linking taxiway, air traffic control, lighting, terminals etc. After completion, Luao Airport will be able to take-off lB737 A320 series large aircrafts.
